The COVID pandemic has seen a shift in the geographic risk-reward balance for investors, with many now believing that emerging nations do not offer suf ficient reward for their inherent risk. Yields in emerging countries are generally greater than those available in the developed nations because their economies are growing faster and they are riskier. Over the past two years, un fortunately, the differential growth has narrowed and these economies have become too risky.
