Less oil equals more coal. It isn't quite as simple as that, but a squeeze on Rus sian oil (and gas) will have the effect of returning coal to its throne. Welcome back old king coal. For environmentalists and govern ments that have spent the past 20 years trying to kill coal what's happen ing on global energy markets must be maddening.
