Abstract

A novel and facile metal-free method for the green synthesis of 2-amino-4-arylthiazole derivatives through the three-component cascade reaction of aromatic methyl ketones, elemental sulfur and cyanamide is reported. One C-N bond and two C-S bonds were formed in one-pot protocol without using catalysts. (C) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
