Abstract
Paradettmeria gen. nov., is described to accommodate Tropideucoila clavicornis. The type specimens studied of Tropi-deucoila clavicornis and T. weldi show no morphological differences between them, thus, we establish their synonymy, with P. clavicornis the senior name.
