Crystals of the title compound, C(2)H(6)N(4)S, are built up from nonplanar 1-(diaminomethylene)thiourea molecules. Pairs of molecules related by inversion are linked by N-H...N hydrogen bonds to form dimeric units, and weak N-H...S interactions link these dimeric units into a three-dimensional framework.
