Ascot Resources is preparing to ramp-up the development of its Premier gold project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle, having overcome a harrowing preconstruction mishap, president and CEO Derrick White told Mining Journal at the 2022 AME Roundup in Vancouver. While the company is pleased with its September 2020 decision to order the ball and SAG mills, a November 2021 storm saw a 60-foot wave send the containers carrying its clarifier and thickener to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.
