A manufacturer of textile testing machinery has invested over ?150,000 into a new CNC machining centre to further its aims of improving quality reducing production times, and being prepared for growth. Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, James Heal expects to build on its 140-year heritage with the acquisition of a DMG Mori NLX2500SY/700 CNC lathe, which is billed as a machine that "achieves powerful turning capabilities and outstanding milling performance", enabling operators' to machine different workpieces - such as simple or complex shaped components - with one operation.
