Abstract
Rhagovelia quilichaensis sp. nov. is described from Santander de Quilichao Municipality, Cauca Department, Colombia, and placed in the armata group. A key to the species of Rhagovelia species in the armata group from Colombia is provided. The armata group of Rhagovelia composed of 26 species, seven of which are from Colombia: four R. cauca, R. macarena, R. malkini and R. perija species described by Polhemus (1997), and three R. htiila, R. azulita and R. oporapa described by Padilla-Gil (2009). Thesespecies occur in departments of Cesar, Meta, Huila and Cauca. Rhagovelia quilichaensis sp. nov., is described and included in a key to the Rhagovelia species of the armata group from Colombia.
