Australia is packed with cuddly critters, as Americans love to call koalas, wombats, bandicoots and bilbies, but none can claim to have played a role in destroying an estimated A$1.2 billion in mining company value over the past six months like the chuditch. As with many of its fury friends, the cat-sized chuditch, also known as the western quoll, looks unbearably cute with its spotted coat, long tail, and batlike ears.
