Ecuador's government is working on mechanisms to structure environmental consultation processes to comply with rulings by the Constitutional Court for environmental permitting processes required for mining projects and those of other sectors, Jose Antonio Davalos, sub secretary of environmen-tal quality at the Ministry of Water, Environment and Ecological Transition told delegates at the CGSQuito 2022 event in Ecuador this week.
