Fuzzy γ -Almost Compactness and Fuzzy Regular γ -Compactness

In this paper, we first introduce a new type of fuzzy open set, viz., fuzzy regular γ -open set. It is shown that the collection of all fuzzy regular γ -open sets in a fuzzy topological space [3] is strictly larger than that of fuzzy γ -open sets [1]. In general intersection of two fuzzy regular γ -open sets need not be so, but in fuzzy γ -space this property holds. Afterwards, we introduce fuzzy regular γ -space in which fuzzy γ -open and fuzzy regular γ -open sets coincide. In Section 4, we first introduce fuzzy γ -almost compact space and fuzzy regular γ -compact space and then characterize these two spaces in several ways especially via fuzzy net and prefilterbase. Again in Section 5, we introduce and characterize fuzzy γ -almost compact set and fuzzy regular γ -compact set via fuzzy net and prefilterbase. In the last section, three different types of fuzzy continuous-like functions are introduced under which fuzzy γ -almost compactness, fuzzy regular γ -compactness, fuzzy compactness become fuzzy compact and fuzzy γ -almost compact.
