Cranfield University and consortium partners have completed a three-year FP7 project to improve aircraft maintenance and repair processes by integrating health management capabilities with additive manufacturing (AM). A total of 12 partners took part in the RepAIR project, which focused on on-site maintenance and repair of aircraft by integrated direct digital manufacturing.
