Points to be corrected: 1. The description and annotation of grey and black lines of Fig. 4 were reversed, respectively. [Figure presented] Fig. 4. Decision curve analysis in validation set. The y-axis represents the net benefit. The red dot line and the black dot line represents model 1 and model 2, respectively. The black flat line represents the clinical benefit obtained assuming that all patients receive intensive care (All treatment strategies). The grey curve represents the clinical benefit obtained assuming that all patients do not receive intensive care. The x-axis represents the threshold probability, which is where the expected benefit of treatment is equal to the expected benefit of avoiding treatment. The vertical distance from each model represents the net clinical benefit conferred by algorithms at varying risk thresholds. 2. The name of R package in the “Model development and internal validation” section was a mistake. ‘preboot’ should have appeared as ‘predboot’.
