Abstract
Recent investigations into the status of Smiley's (1992) subfamily Neobonzinae, as well as the genus Neobonzia Smiley, 1992, has led to a re-evalution of this taxon. Smiley (1992) erected a new subfamily Neobonzinae to include the monotypic genus Neobonzia with the single specimen of Neobonzia moseri Smiley, 1992 (Fig. 1) as its type species. Neobonzia clavata Corpuz-Raros, 2008 is the only other member of the genus.
