A list of agricultural reference books and abstracting and indexing publications is provided. The primary areas addressed include aquaculture, agricultural machinery, dryland agriculture, farm management, field crops and grains, general agriculture, irrigation, livestock, organic farming, pesticides, poultry, rice, and soil science. In some instances, reference books are divided by type of material, such as handbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and textbooks. Book entries contain basic bibliographic information, and secondary source entries contain annotative information about scope and coverage.
