查看更多>>摘要:The little-known scaly cricket family Mogoplistidae is reviewed for Korea for the first time. Three members are confirmed: Ectatoderus tamna sp. nov. is newly described from Jejudo Island; Ornebius bimaculatus (Shiraki, 1930) is newly recognized from Marado Island, a small island near Jejudo Island; and Ornebius kanetataki (Matsumura, 1904) is reconfirmed. A key to the species, descriptions, photographs, and figures are provided for their identification. All type and voucher specimens are deposited in the Entomological Collection of the National Institute of Biological Resources.

The male and female stages are described, compared with related species and male genitalia and forelegs illustrated. Keys to the western Palaearctic species of Hilara clavipes-group and the Mediterranean species of Hilara interstincta-group are updated. Also the systematic position of the new species within the species groups is discussed.

Promanodes alleni sp. nov., the second species of the Tertiary genus Promanodes Kolibac, Schmied, Wappler et Kubisz, 2010, with improved diagnosis of the genus and remarks on its phylogeny (Coleoptera: Trogossitidae)

    Kolibac, Jiri .

查看更多>>摘要:A new species of the genus Promanodes Kolibac, Schmied, Wappler et Kubisz, 2010 (Trogossitidae: Lophocaterinae: Lophocaterini), P. alleni sp. nov., is described from Baltic amber. Perfectly visible antennae and tarsi of the fossil extend morphological information about the genus and new character states, some of them unique among Peltinae and Lophocaterinae, confirm its independent status. A differential diagnosis of Promanodes is improved. A character analysis confirms a relation of Promanodes and the extant genus Promanus Sharp, 1877.
