According to news originating from Beijing, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Carotenoid aggregates are omnipresent in natural world and can be synthesized in hydrophilic environments. Despite different types of carotenoid aggregates have been reported hitherto, the way to predict the formation of carotenoid aggregates, i.e.”

Kepler University Hospital Reports Findings in Gliomas (Tailored Intraoperative MRI Strategies in High-Grade Glioma Surgery: A Machine Learning-Based Radiomics Model Highlights Selective Benefits)

    29-30页
查看更多>>摘要:New research on Oncology - Gliomas is the subject of a report. According to news reporting from Linz, Austria, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “In high-grade glioma (HGG) surgery, intraoperative MRI (iMRI) has traditionally been the gold standard for maximizing tumor resection and improving patient outcomes. However, recent Level 1 evidence juxtaposes the efficacy of iMRI and 5- aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA), questioning the continued justification of iMRI because of its associated costs and extended surgical duration.”

Glasgow Dental Hospital and School NHS Trust Reports Findings in Artificial Intelligence (Artificial intelligence and dental panoramic radiographs: where are we now?)

    31-32页
查看更多>>摘要:New research on Artificial Intelligence is the subject of a report. According to news reporting from Glasgow, United Kingdom, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), Google Scholar Association for Computing Machinery: Guide to Computing Literature (ACM) and National Library of Medicine: PubMed databases were searched for systematic reviews. This study addressed a structured PICO question (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome).”

Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila Researchers Provide New Insights into Robotics (Evaluation of Austenitic Stainless Steel ER308 Coating on H13 Tool Steel by Robotic GMAW Process)

    31-31页
查看更多>>摘要:Investigators discuss new findings in robotics. According to news reporting from the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Within the drilling, petrochemical, construction, and related industries, coatings are used to recover components that failed during service or to prevent potential failures. Due to high stresses, such as wear and corrosion, which the materials are subjected to, industries require the application of coating between dissimilar materials, such as carbon steels and stainless steels, through arc welding processes.”

Hunan Women’s University Reports Findings in Support Vector Machines (Dynamic correction of soft measurement model for evaporation process parameters based on ARMA)

    32-33页
查看更多>>摘要:New research on Support Vector Machines is the subject of a report. According to news reporting out of Hunan, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “To address the significant soft measurement errors in traditional static models for evaporation process parameters, which are characterized by continuity and cumulativity, this paper proposes a dynamic correction method for soft measurement models of evaporation process parameters based on the autoregressive moving-average model (ARMA). Initially, the Powell’s directional evolution (Powell-DE) algorithm is utilized to identify the autoregressive order and moving average order of the ARMA model.”

Study Data from University of Lausanne Update Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (Editorial 2024: Large Language Models, Artificial Intelligence and Geomorphology)

    33-34页
查看更多>>摘要:New research on Artificial Intelligence is the subject of a report. According to news reporting out of Lausanne, Switzerland, by NewsRx editors, the research stated, “Large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, have seen an explosion of interest over the last 12 months. It is hard to see an area of education and research where we are not having to face the challenge they pose, a form of artificial intelligence (AI) that is capable of generating text in response to relatively minimum prompting.”

New Findings from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ in Machine Learning Provides New Insights (A Machine-learning Based Approach To Predict Facies Associations and Improve Local and Regional Stratigraphic Correlations)

    34-35页
查看更多>>摘要:Investigators publish new report on Machine Learning. According to news reporting originating in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The geological record has challenged stratigraphers through time. Many depositional, tectonic and paleobiological events require stratigraphic positioning to determine temporal relationships among such events.”

Study Findings on Robotics Are Outlined in Reports from Georgia Institute of Technology (Octoshaker: a Versatile Robotic Biomechanical Agitator for Cellular and Organoid Research)

    35-36页
查看更多>>摘要:Investigators publish new report on Robotics. According to news reporting originating from Atlanta, Georgia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Mechanical forces have increasingly been recognized as a key regulator in the fate of cellular development and functionality. Different mechanical transduction methods, such as substrate stiffness and magnetic bead vibration, have been experimented with to understand the interaction between the biophysical cues and cellular outcome.”

Researcher at Faculty of Law Has Published New Data on Artificial Intelligence (Legal aspects of artificial intelligence in the employment process)

    36-37页
查看更多>>摘要:A new study on artificial intelligence is now available. According to news originating from the Faculty of Law by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “The introduction of artificial intelligence in all domains of life is the most transformative process in recent history.” The news editors obtained a quote from the research from Faculty of Law: “It is also a highly dynamic process, and due to the pace of technological development, a very limited legal framework is available to address issues of human rights, ethics, transparency, privacy, safety and accountability. During the last few years, artificial intelligence started to reshape employment processes. Positive aspects of the introduction of AI in the employment process are efficiency and quality in job matching, digitalisation and acceleration of the process, ability to process large data and match job seekers to available vacancy announcements, the alleviation of administrative burdens of employees of employment agencies and giving them strategic and innovative roles. All these are indispensable in present times when demographic challenges in European countries are leading to increased labour migrations and require changes in the recruitment process. The paper explores the current challenges of AI, i.e. how to achieve human-centred values and fairness of AI use during the employment process, preventing algorithmic bias and discriminatory application of AI tools.”

Study Findings on Robotics Published by a Researcher at Changchun University of Science and Technology (3D path planning in threat environment based on fuzzy logic)

    37-38页
查看更多>>摘要:Investigators publish new report on robotics. According to news reporting out of Changchun, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Ground mobile robots can replace human beings to perform special tasks in threatened areas.” Our news editors obtained a quote from the research from Changchun University of Science and Technology: “Path planning technology provides mobile robots with the ability to reach the target position autonomously. When there are threats in the environment, the ground mobile robot needs to be able to reach the target position quickly and safely. Because threats are often difficult to calculate in such environments, and planned paths are difficult to use for path tracing. Therefore, path planning should comprehensively consider the distance, continuity and possible threats when moving. Aiming at the problem that the threat in the environment cannot be accurately calibrated usually, this paper proposes a method to mark the threat degree on the global elevation map by using the fuzzy logic system. In order to verify the feasibility of the algorithm, the improved algorithm with the classical algorithm in different environments and the current similar algorithm are compared with the current simulation experiment.”
