Patent Issued for Joint structure for robot (USPTO 11850737)

    116-118页
查看更多>>摘要:This patent was filed on September 1, 2020 and was published online on December 26, 2023.From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents obtained the followingquote: “BACKGROUND ART“Manipulator devices used for a painting work are known, which are provided with a nozzle. The nozzlerotates with two degrees of freedom, and has a gear part which is sandwiched between two bevel gears andis disposed at a base body so as to mesh with the bevel gears (for example, see Patent Document 1).”Supplementing the background information on this patent, NewsRx reporters also obtained the inventors’summary information for this patent: “In order to solve the conventional problem, a joint structure fora robot according to the present disclosure includes a first link and a second link rotatably coupled to eachother via a joint part, and a first actuator and a second actuator. The joint part has a first rotary memberdisposed so that an axial center thereof is oriented in a first direction and connected to the first link, apair of second rotary members disposed so that an axial center thereof is oriented in a second directionperpendicular to the first direction, and so as to engage with the first rotary member, and a shaft memberhaving a first shank and a pair of second shanks. The first actuator transmits a rotational movementthereof to one of the second rotary members via a rotary transmitting member. The second actuatortransmits a rotational movement thereof to the other second rotary member via the rotary transmittingmember. The shaft member is formed so that the first shank is oriented in the first direction and the pairof second shanks are oriented in the second direction. The first rotary member is disposed so that thefirst shank of the shaft member is inserted therein. The pair of second rotary members are disposed sothat they oppose to each other and the second shank of the shaft member is inserted therein. The firstlink pivots relatively to the second link by the first actuator and the second actuator rotating. The jointstructure further includes a pressing member connected to the second shank and configured to press thesecond rotary member inwardly.

Researchers Submit Patent Application, 'Automated Food Cooking System', for Approval (USPTO 20230413830)

    118-120页
查看更多>>摘要:News editors obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“In recent years, there has been a demand to automate service processes in restaurants due to the shortageof employees in restaurants and the like. There is also a demand for automation in food cooking systems, and technologies such as those described in Patent Literatures 1 and 2 have been proposed.“Patent Literature 1 describes a method of cooking a pizza by mechanical and automatic means, inwhich dough is shaped, sauce and toppings are added to the dough by a plurality of topping stations, andthen the dough is heated by a baking station.

Patent Application Titled 'Method of Handling Carrier by Means of Mobile Robot, Control System and Mobile Robot' Published Online (USPTO 20230415331)

    120-125页
查看更多>>摘要:By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News – According to news reporting originating from Washington, D.C., by NewsRx journalists,a patent application by the inventor Larsson, Jonas (Vasteras, SE), filed on November 20, 2020, was madeavailable online on December 28, 2023.No assignee for this patent application has been made. Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“People are spending time to move carts, trolleys, beds, or other types of carriers between two locationsin many different situations. Today, robotic solutions for moving carriers are only used in a fraction ofthese situations. Robotic solutions are usually employed where logistics flows are very controlled and wherelogistics requirements are very static (do not vary over time).

Patent Issued for Travel robot for moving substrate transfer robot in chamber (USPTO 11850744)

    125-128页
查看更多>>摘要:The assignee for this patent, patent number 11850744, is T-Robotics Co. Ltd. (Osan-si, South Korea).Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“In general, a substrate such as a wafer for a semiconductor device, a glass substrate for a displaydevice, or a glass substrate for a thin film solar cell is manufactured by performing various processes onthe substrate. During these processes, the substrate is loaded and processed in a substrate processingequipment that provides optimal conditions for each of the processes.“Nowadays, in order to improve productivity, a cluster-type substrate processing equipment capable ofcollectively processing the substrate is being developed and used.

Evaluation of Microplate Handling Accuracy for Applying Robotic Arms in Laboratory Automation

    128-129页
查看更多>>摘要:“An inexpensive single-arm robot is widely utilized for recent laboratory automation solutions. Theintegration of a single-arm robot as a transfer system into a semi-automatic liquid dispenser without atransfer system can be realized as an inexpensive alternative to a fully automated liquid handling system.“However, there has been no quantitative investigation of the positional accuracy of robot arms requiredto transfer microplates.
