Patent Application Titled 'Generating Datastore Checkpoints' Published Online (USPTO 20230401186)

    140-143页
查看更多>>摘要:Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Datastores (e.g., databases, tables, objects, data structures, whether generic or bespoke, and/or thelike) are ubiquitous in modern computing environments. Various approaches to structuring and utilizingdatastores exist, often with accompanying tradeoffs, e.g., in terms of size, performance, and/or the like.”In addition to obtaining background information on this patent application, NewsRx editors also obtainedthe inventor’s summary information for this patent application: “Aspects and advantages of embodimentsof the present disclosure will be set forth in part in the following description, or may be learnedfrom the description, or may be learned through practice of the embodiments.

Patent Issued for Robotic cleaner with dual cleaning rollers (USPTO 11839346)

    144-147页
查看更多>>摘要:From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents obtained the followingquote: “BACKGROUND INFORMATION“Robotic cleaners have become an increasingly popular appliance for automated cleaning applications. In particular, robotic vacuum cleaners are used to vacuum surfaces while moving around the surfaceswithout little or no user interaction. Existing robotic vacuum cleaners include a suction system as wellas various cleaning implements and agitators such as rotating brush rolls and side brushes. Similar tomanually controlled vacuum cleaners, robotic vacuum cleaners face certain challenges with respect tocapturing debris on a surface being cleaned.

Researchers Submit Patent Application, 'Providing Command Bundle Suggestions For An Automated Assistant', for Approval (USPTO 20230401259)

    147-150页
查看更多>>摘要:News editors obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“An automated assistant (also known as a “personal assistant”, “mobile assistant”, etc.) may be interactedwith by a user via a variety of client devices, such as smart phones, tablet computers, wearable devices, automobile systems, standalone personal assistant devices, and so forth. An automated assistant receivesinput from the user (e.g., typed and/or spoken natural language input) and responds with responsivecontent (e.g., visual and/or audible natural language output) and/or by controlling one or more peripheraldevices (e.g., Internet of things (IoT) device(s)). An automated assistant interacted with via a client devicemay be implemented via the client device itself and/or via one or more remote computing devices that arein network communication with the client device (e.g., computing device(s) in “the cloud”).

Patent Issued for Co-manipulation surgical system for use with surgical instruments for performing laparoscopic surgery while estimating hold force (USPTO 11839442)

    150-155页
查看更多>>摘要:Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Managing vision and access during a laparoscopic procedure is a challenge. The surgical assistant paradigmis inherently imperfect, as the assistant is being asked to anticipate and see with the surgeon’s eyes, withoutstanding where the surgeon stands, and similarly to anticipate and adjust how the surgeon wants the tissueof interest exposed, throughout the procedure. For example, during a laparoscopic procedure, one assistantmay be required to hold a retractor device to expose tissue for the surgeon, while another assistant maybe required to hold a laparoscope device to provide a field of view of the surgical space within the patientto the surgeon during the procedure, either one of which may be required to hold the respective tools inan impractical position, e.g., from between the arms of the surgeon while the surgeon is actively operatingadditional surgical instruments.

Machine learning approaches to predicting whether muscles can be elicited via TMS

    155-155页
查看更多>>摘要:By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News - According to news reporting based on a preprint abstract, our journalists obtained thefollowing quote sourced from biorxiv.org:“Background: Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a valuable technique for assessing the functionof the motor cortex and cortico-muscular pathways. TMS activates the moto-neurons in the cortex, and this activation is transmitted through the cortico-muscular pathway, after which it can be measuredas a motor evoked potential (MEP) in the muscles. The position and orientation of the TMS coil andthe intensity used to deliver a TMS pulse are considered central TMS setup parameters influencing thepresence/absence of MEPs. New Method: We sought to predict the presence of MEPs from TMS setupparameters using machine learning.
