According to news originating from Montreal, Canada, by NewsRx correspo ndents, research stated, "This paper designs a minimal neural network (NN)-based model-free control structure for the fast, accurate trajectory tracking of robo tic arms, crucial for large movements, velocities, and accelerations." Funders for this research include Institut De Valorisation Des Donnees. Our news reporters obtained a quote from the research from Polytechnique Montrea l: "Trajectory tracking requires an accurate dynamic model or aggressive feedbac k. However, such models are hard to obtain due to nonlinearities and uncertainti es, especially in low-cost, 3D-printed robotic arms. A recently proposed model-f ree architecture has used an NN for the dynamic compensation of a proportional d erivative controller, but the minimal requirements and optimal conditions remain unclear, leading to overly complex architectures. This study aims to identify t hese requirements and design a minimal NN-based model-free control structure for trajectory tracking. Two architectures are compared, one NN per joint (INN) and one global NN (GNN), each tested on two serial robotic arms in simulations and real scenarios. The results show that the architecture reduces tracking errors ( RMSE <2°)."

Ac cording to news originating from Beijing, People's Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, "In this article, we propose a fully distribute d algorithm that leverages the concept of exploration behavior to achieve the sh ape formation control of multirobot systems. Here, the exploration behavior mean s that each robot can actively explore the unoccupied goal locations in the shap e, thus removing the prior goal assignment for each robot and increasing the sys tem's flexibility." According to news originating from Chapman Univer sity by NewsRx editors, the research stated, "Coral reefs, despite covering less than 0.2 % of the ocean floor, harbor approximately 35 % of all known marine species, making their conservation critical." Financial supporters for this research include Us Department of Education. The news reporters obtained a quote from the research from Chapman University: " However, coral bleaching, exacerbated by climate change and phenomena such as El Nino, poses a significant threat to these ecosystems. This study focuses on the Red Sea, proposing a generalized machine learning approach to detect and monito r changes in coral reef cover over an 18-year period (2000-2018). Using Landsat 7 and 8 data, a Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier was trained on depth-inv ariant indices (DII) derived from the Gulf of Aqaba and validated against ground truth data from Umluj. The classifier was then applied to Al Wajh, demonstratin g its robustness across different sites and times. Results indicated a significa nt decline in coral cover: 11.4 % in the Gulf of Aqaba, 3.4 % in Umluj, and 13.6 % in Al Wajh."
