According to news originating from Korea National University of Transportation by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “This paper presents t he design, implementation, and control of a ball-balancing robot developed for i nteractive applications in service and entertainment environments.” Funders for this research include Korea National University of Transportation In dustry-academic Cooperation Foundation, in 2022.

New Machine Learning Research from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Discusse d (Interpretable machine learning for understanding compositional and testing co ndition effects on refractive index, density, dielectric constant, and loss tang ent ...)

    89-89页
查看更多>>摘要:By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Research findings on artificial intell igence are discussed in a new report. According to news originating from New Del hi, India, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Artificial intelligence ( AI) and machine learning (ML) have enabled property-targeted design of glasses.” The news journalists obtained a quote from the research from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi: “Several machine learning models and open-source tools in the literature allow researchers to predict the optical, physical, mechanical, and electrical properties of glasses as a function of their chemical compositions. H owever, these properties also depend on testing conditions. In this paper, we tr ain machine learning models by considering composition and wavelength, temperatu re, and frequency to predict the refractive index, density, and the two electric al properties, i.e., dielectric constant and loss tangent of glasses, respective ly. The predictions of trained models are explained using SHAP analysis, reveali ng that testing conditions, such as wavelength and temperature, interact majorly with network formers while predicting refractive index and density. In the case of electrical properties, network formers and frequency have the highest intera ctions, followed by network modifiers and intermediates, and hence govern predic tions of dielectric constant and loss tangent.”

First Affiliated Hospital Reports Findings in Artificial Intelligence (Added val ue of artificial intelligence solutions for arterial stenosis detection on head and neck CT angiography: A randomized crossover multi-reader multi-case study)

Patent Issued for Method for mechanical surface treatment using electro-pulse as sisted deep rolling (USPTO 12084733)

    91-92页
查看更多>>摘要:Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “1. Technical Field “This disclosure relates generally to component processing and/or repair, and mo re particularly to electro-pulse assisted robotic deep rolling of materials or p arts. “2. Background Information “Mechanical surface treatments, such as “deep rolling process”, are being used t o enhance the surface strength and/or subsurface of a metallic substrate. The te rm “deep rolling” refers to a surface rolling treatment using rolls applied with force with the purpose of inducing deep plastic deformations and compressive re sidual stresses in near-surface layers of the substrate. This process is in cont rast to a process often referred to as “roller burnishing” which is usually appl ied with much lower forces or pressures and mostly aims to obtain a compressive residual stress with low plastic strain and certain surface quality especially i n terms of roughness.
