    查看更多>>摘要:Low-dimensional lead halide materials have proved to be intrinsically stable semiconductor materials.However,the development of one-dimensional(1D)perovskites or perovskitoids with both robust water stability and high optoelectronic performance still faces significant challenges.Here,we report a new class of 1D(TzBIPY)Pb2X6(X=Cl,Br,I)perovskitoids featuring a π-conjugated diamine cation(TzBIPY=2,5-di(pyridin-4-yl)thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole).The TzBIPY2+cation with delocalized electrons directly contributes to the electronic structure and hence reduces the band gap.Especially,the Br-based material exhibits enhanced carrier separation and transport capacity,benefiting from the improved electronic conjugation together with a type Ⅱ intramolecular heterojunction between conjugated organic cations and Pb-X octahedra.The(TzBIPY)Pb2Br6 photodetector exhibits an impressive photocurrent on/off ratio of 8.1 × 105,which is much superior to the previous three-dimensional(3D)perovskite bench-mark.Additionally,the π-conjugated cations serve as dense protective shields for vulnerable Pb-X inor-ganic lattice against being attacked by water,thus demonstrating exceptional stability even immersed in water for over 3000 h.

    N18 ring:A building block for constructing 1D and 2D polymeric nitrogen frameworks

    查看更多>>摘要:Exploring the fundamental building block is essential for constructing functional materials with extended topological configurations.In the polymeric nitrogen system,no fundamental building blocks have been reported so far.Here,we successfully synthesize the buckled 1-dimensional(1D)band-shaped and 2-dimensional(2D)layered polymeric nitrogen frameworks with N18 ring as a fundamental building block for the first time.Furthermore,the dimensions of the polymeric nitrogen frameworks can be regulated by pressure conditions.Bader charge analyses indicate that the charge transfer from the La atom to the low-order bonded nitrogen atom plays a crucial role in stabilizing these two low-dimensional polymeric frameworks.Both LaN16 and LaN8 are promising high-energy-density materials(HEDMs).This study reveals that the N18 ring can serve as a fundamental building block,analogous to the six-membered ring in carbon-based materials,enabling the construction of novel polymeric nitrogen materials with extended frameworks.

    Support work-function dependent Fenton-like catalytic activity of Co single atoms for selective cobalt(Ⅳ)=O generation

    查看更多>>摘要:In Fenton-like reactions,high-valent cobalt-oxo(CoⅣ=O)has attracted increasing interests due to high redox potential,long lifetime,and anti-interference properties,but its generation is hindered by the elec-tron repulsion between the electron rich oxo-and cobalt centers.Here,we demonstrate CoⅣ-O genera-tion from peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation over cobalt single-atom catalysts(Co-SACs)using in-situ Co K-edge X-ray absorption spectra,and discern that CoⅣ-O generation is dependent on the support work-function(WF)due to the strong electronic metal-support interaction(EMSI).Supports with a high WF value like anatase-TiO2 facilitate the binding of PMS-terminal oxo-ligand to Co sites by extracting Co-d electrons,thus decreasing the generation barrier for the critical intermediate(Co-OOSO2-).The Co atoms anchored on anatase-TiO2(Co-TiO2)exhibited enhanced CoⅣ=O generation and superior activity for sulfamethoxazole(SMX)degradation during PMS activation.The normalized steady-state concentra-tion of CoⅣ=O in Co-TiO2/PMS system was three orders of magnitude higher than that of free radicals,and 1.3-to 11-fold higher than that generated in other Co-SACs/PMS systems.Co-TiO2/PMS sustained effi-cient removal of SMX with minimal Co2*leaching under continuous flow operation,suggesting its attrac-tive water purification potential.Overall,these results underscore the significance of support selection for enhanced generation of high-valent metal-oxo species and efficient PMS activation in supported metal SACs.

    Mapping the electric field of high-definition transcranial electrical stimulation across the lifespan

    查看更多>>摘要:Transcranial electrical stimulation(tES)is a non-invasive technique widely used in modulating brain activity and behavior,but its effects differ across individuals and are influenced by head anatomy.In this study,we investigated how the electric field(EF)generated by high-definition tES varies across the lifes-pan among different demographic groups and its relationship with neural responses measured by func-tional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI).We employed an MRI-guided finite element method to simulate the EF for the two most common tES montages(i.e.,targeting the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and motor cortex,respectively)in two large cohorts of white and Asian participants aged 12 to 100 years.We found that the EF intensity decreased with age,particularly in individuals under 25 years of age,and was influenced by gender and ethnicity.We identified skull thickness,scalp thickness,and epidural cere-brospinal fluid thickness,as the primary anatomical factors accounting for the inter-individual EF vari-ability.Using a concurrent tES-fMRI approach,we observed a spatial consistency between the simulated EF and the brain activity changes induced by tES in the target region.Finally,we developed an open-source toolbox incorporating age-stratified head models to facilitate efficient EF calculations.These findings characterize and quantify the individual differences in tES-induced EF,offering a reference for implementing personalized neuromodulation strategies.

    Prevalence of common upper gastrointestinal diseases in Chinese adults aged 18-64 years

    查看更多>>摘要:To investigate the prevalence of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD),reflux esophagitis(RE),digestive ulcer gastric ulcer(GU),duodenal ulcer(DU),and Helicobacter pylori infection in Chinese adults aged 18-64 years and their associated factors,a community-based cross-sectional study using a stratified multi-stage sampling method was conducted.A standardized questionnaire survey,the 13C-urea breath test,and gastroscopy were performed.Weighted methods were used to estimate the prevalence of diseases or infection mentioned above and their risk factors.Finally,27,637 participants aged 18-64 years were enrolled from 2017 to 2018.The prevalence(95%confidence interval)of GERD,RE,GU,DU,and H.pylori infection was estimated to be 10.5%(7.8%-14.2%),5.4%(3.9%-7.3%),2.5%(1.7%-3.7%),4.5%(3.6%-5.4%),and 41.5%(36.7%-46.4%),respectively.The fraction of H.pylori infection reached 58.6%and 61.1%among the GU and DU patients,respectively.Weighted multivariable logistic regression models showed that GERD,RE,and GU shared the common risk factors of age and obesity.Dose-response relationships were observed between smoking and all four diseases,as well as alcohol consumption and GERD and H.pylori infection.Northwest China had the highest prevalence of GERD(23.9%),RE(8.7%),GU(7.8%),DU(7.3%),and H.pylori infection(63.6%);however,the southwest region had the highest prevalence of GU but the lowest of DU,RE,and H.pylori infection.Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs were positively associ-ated with GERD risk.On the contrary,a reduced risk of GU was observed among H.pylori-infected patients taking this drug.In summary,the prevalence of GERD,RE,and H.pylori infection still appears high in China.H.pylori infection eradication remains the priority to reduce the burden of peptic ulcer dis-ease.The aging population,high prevalence of overweight or obesity,smoking,and drinking in China could explain the high burden of these diseases,thus suggesting the targeted preventive measures for upper gastrointestinal diseases in the future.

    Community prevention and standardized clinical treatment jointly improve cancer outcome:Real-world evidence from an esophageal cancer patient cohort study

    查看更多>>摘要:Extensive efforts have been put into reducing the heavy burden of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)in China.However,the joint impact of prevention and treatment on the long-term overall survival(OS)of ESCC patients remains largely unknown.We consecutively recruited 13,255 ESCC patients from two Chinese centers:the Northern center,located in a high-risk area with abundant screening programs;and the Southern center,situated in a non-high-risk area with improved clinical practices.Inter-center comparison,longitudinal intra-center comparison,and a simulation analysis were conducted to investi-gate the influence of tumor downstaging and high-quality clinical treatment on OS.During a follow-up period of 12.52 years,the Northern center exhibited higher median survival than the Southern center(6.22 vs.3.15 years;HRadjusted=0.73,95%CI:0.69-0.77).Mediation analysis demonstrated that its OS advantage was largely(77.7%)attributed to earlier TNM stage(stage 0-Ⅱ:51.3%vs.24.6%).In temporal analyses,patient survival in the Southern center gradually improved(median survival during 2015-2018 vs.2009-2014:3.58 vs.2.93 years;HRadjusted=0.86,95%Cl:0.79-0.94),coinciding with the progress of treatment-related indices(completeness of TNM staging in discharge diagnosis[from 53.7%to 99.6%],adoption of minimally invasive esophagectomy[from 0.0%to 51.1%]and right thoracic esophagectomy[from 12.4%to 86.4%],etc.).Simulation analysis further demonstrated that integrating both downstaging and high-quality treatment would lead to the best survival.Tumor downstaging and high-quality clinical treatment have a joint impact on ESCC patient survival.Establishing a comprehensive strategy that inte-grates cancer prevention with optimal clinical treatment is crucial for alleviating the ESCC burden.

    Restoring sweat gland function in mice using regenerative sweat gland cells derived from chemically reprogrammed human epidermal keratinocytes

    查看更多>>摘要:The regeneration of sweat glands(SwGs)plays a pivotal role in the functional recovery of extensive skin wounds.Recent research has illuminated the possibility of reprogramming human epidermal ker-atinocytes(HEKs)into induced SwG cells through the ectopic expression of ectodysplasin A.However,the clinical application of this genetic manipulation approach is inherently limited.In this study,we pre-sent findings demonstrating that a combination of six compounds can effectively and speedily reprogram HEKs in culture into fully functional SwG cells.These chemically induced SwG-like cells(ciSGCs)closely resemble the morphology,phenotypes,and functional properties of human primary SwG ductal cells.Furthermore,ciSGCs can be stimulated to differentiate into mature SwG cell types in vitro.In a 3D culture system,they can also generate SwG organoids that exhibit structural and biological features akin to native SwGs.Upon transplantation into scalded mouse paw skin,ciSGCs significantly expedited cuta-neous wound healing and completely restored the structural and functional aspects of the SwGs.In con-clusion,the small molecule cocktail-directed SwG reprogramming offers a non-transgenic and controllable strategy for producing high-quality,clinical-grade SwG cells,showing immense potential for the treatment of burn patients.
