    查看更多>>摘要:Cosmetic safety assessment has distinct characteristics of interdisciplinary and extensive intersection,intensive technical knowledge,and high professional requirements.China is confronted with problems such as a lack of professional safety assessment personnel and review personnel for cosmetic safety assessment.The compliance of safety assessment reports has become one of the important factors affecting the process of cosmetic filing and listing.This article contains the comprehensive analysis on the requirements of relevant regulations and technical documents for cosmetic safety assessment,as well as the judgment principles,and specific requirements of safety assessment reports.The key issues in current cosmetic safety assessment and the safety assessment requirements for typical products also are being focused on,so as to help standardize and unify the review standards of cosmetic safety assessment report,and provide reference for cosmetic filers.

    查看更多>>摘要:To explore the efficacy evaluation method of depilatory cream.60 subjects were selected as subjects,and statistical analysis was carried out on the depilation effect of large samples.The hair was removed with a razor in the control area and with depilation cream in the sample area,Antera 3D skin imaging analyzer was used to image the experimental area before and after the experiment,and the hair growth was dynamically monitored at 7,14,21 and 28 days,measure the length of hair with instrument and measure the number of people.The hair length change rate and hair inhibition rate were dynamically monitored in 28 days.The hair length change rate was-10.5%and hair inhibition rate was 93.3%after 28 days,more intuitive display of the product depilation effect,so as to determine the efficacy of depilation products evaluation method.

    查看更多>>摘要:Preliminary exploration of the soothing,oil control,acne removing effects and its mechanisms of Artemisia annua extract.The soothing effect of Artemisia annua extract was tested by hyaluronidase biochemical reaction.The soothing and oil-controlling effects were investigated by cell model.The inhibitory effect on propionibacterium acnes was studied by suspension quantification.The results showed that Artemisia annua extract could effectively inhibit the degradation of hyaluronic acid(P<0.01).Artemisia annua extract significantly inhibited the secretion of inflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-6 in RAW264.7 cells(P<0.05).Artemisia annua extract at 0.5%,0.25%,0.125%could significantly inhibit the secretion of oil by SZ95 cells(P<0.05).The minimum inhibitory concentration of Artemisia annua extract against propionibacterium acnes was 0.625%,and the inhibitory rate against propionibacterium acnes increased with the increase of the concentration of Artemisia annua extract.In summary,Artemisia annua extract can achieve acne efficacy through soothing and oil control,and this function may be achieved by reducing hyaluronic acid degradation,inhibiting inflammatory pathways produced by inflammatory factors TNF-α and IL-6,inhibiting oil secretion,and inhibiting the growth of propionibacterium acnes.

    查看更多>>摘要:As a traditional Chinese herbal medicine component,Corydalis yanhusuo is gradually attracting the attention of the skin care industry.In this study,Corydalis yanhusuo root extract dispersion(CTR50)was used as the research object.The related activities of Corydalis yanhusuo root extract dispersion were studied by cytotoxicity test,in vitro and in vivo antioxidant test and cell scratch healing test.The results showed that the dispersion of Corydalis yanhusuo root extract had no cytotoxicity to HaCaT cells.When the concentration of Corydalis yanhusuo root extract dispersion was 5%,the scavenging rate of DPPH free radical was 35.05%,and the scavenging ability of hydroxyl radical was weak;CTR50 can significantly increase the activity of SOD in HaCaT cells,increase the content of antioxidant factor GSH in HaCaT cells induced by UVB,and improve the oxidative stability of skin;it significantly promoted the healing ability of HaCaT cells at the scratch site.It can be seen that the dispersion of Corydalis yanhusuo root extract has the potential to be used as a functional raw material for natural skin care products,which provides a theoretical basis for its development and application in the field of cosmetics.

    查看更多>>摘要:To study the feasibility of zebrafish model as an evaluation method for eye irritation of cosmetics,and to evaluate eye irritation of several common surfactants and wash products by this method.To construct a zebrafish eye stimulation model,stereomicroscope was used to observe the changes in eye morphology of zebrafish embryos to evaluate the stimulation of subjects.Two evaluation indexes were selected:pupil diameter and the ratio of pupil diameter to iris bandwidth.The results show that the ratio method of pupil diameter to iris bandwidth of zebrafish is insufficient.The experimental results of pupil diameter of zebrafish were highly coincident with those of chick embryo chorio-allantoic membrane.At the same time,the subject can inhibit the pupil diameter of zebrafish,and the pupil diameter is negatively correlated with the irritation of the subject.Therefore,the zebrafish model can be used in the evaluation of cosmetic eye irritation to provide rapid and efficient detection for product development.

    查看更多>>摘要:In order to solve the problem of limited makeup removal ability of a single surfactant of Peg-20 glyceryl triisostearate in makeup remover,an efficient system was prepared which contained PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate and a combination of Sorbeth-30 tetraoleate and Peg-5 glyceryl triisostearate.Leather test,skin colorimeter test and consumer self-evaluation were used to assess the makeup removal ability,rinsing performance and softness skin feel of the efficient makeup remover base.The results showed that a 7%combination of Sorbeth-30 tetraoleate and PEG-5 glyceryl triisostearate could significantly improve the comprehensive performance of single PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate makeup remover system,furthermore,they performed best at the ratio of 6:1.We hope the findings can have guiding significance for the development of makeup remover products.

    查看更多>>摘要:Oily skin,a facial skin condition,appears shiny and greasy and is a source of common skin disorders such as acne vulgaris and seborrheic dermatitis.Moreover,oily skin can lead to depression,distress,and so on,which can be detrimental to social interactions.In this study,the effect of Norway spruce leaf extract(NSLE)on the management of oily skin was investigated both in vitro and in vivo,focusing on its sebum-controlling and anti-inflammatory properties.The in vitro results showed that the NSLE significantly reduced neutral lipids in linoleic acid(LA)-induced human SZ95 sebocytes in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.05).Additionally,the 2.5%NSLE was able to reduce the lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced elevation of nitric oxide(NO)levels in RAW264.7 cells(P<0.05).The human efficacy evaluation showed that the emulsion containing 2.5%NSLE had a significant sebum-controlling effect,the skin sebum content decreased by 29.3%after 7 days.Furthermore,the results also indicated a notable improvement in skin glossiness and lightness(P<0.05)after two weeks of application,compared to baseline.In conclusion,NSLE effectively enhances the skin health of oily skin by reducing sebum production and inhibiting inflammation.This study provided evidence for NSLE as a natural and effective ingredient in skincare products for individuals with oily skin.

    Balancing Microbiome as a Promising Approach for Scalp Care—the Basic Concept and an in Vitro Proof

    查看更多>>摘要:The human scalp harbors a diverse range of microbiome,much like other skin surfaces,where both beneficial and harmful microorganisms coexist.This study explores the possibility of balancing key scalp microorganisms,particularly Staphylococcus epidermidis,Staphylococcus aureus and Malassezia species.While Staphylococcus epidermidis plays a beneficial role in maintaining scalp health by producing antimicrobial proteins and supporting the skin barrier,Staphylococcus aureus is identified as a pathogen linked to skin infections and dandruff formation.Malassezia fungi degrade triglycerides in sebum into unsaturated fatty acids,exacerbating scalp conditions like dandruff.In order to promote the beneficial microbe while inhibit the harmful ones,we investigated the combination of 1.0 mM pyrrolidone carboxylate-zinc(PCA-Zn),0.2%malt oligosaccharides(MT:corn-derived oligosaccharide mainly containing maltotetraose)and 0.05 mM Hinokitiol on its microbial activity,which significantly enhanced the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis while inhibiting both Staphylococcus aureus and Malassezia,offering insights into promising strategies for scalp care.
