Objective:To investigate the incidence of Floppy Kid Syndrome (FKS) in some areas of Anhui Province.Methods:75 Goat farms were investigated through questionnaires and field visits in 9 cities of Anhui Province.Results:The incidence rate of FKS was 37.33％ in spring ,and 29.34％ in winter ,and the incidence ages were highest in 4—15 d ,accounting for 66.67％ of the sick lambs ,the death rate of FKS lambs reached 20％ —60％.Rare or occasional occurrence was in summer and autumn.Conclusion:According to the survey ,it was predicted that the incidence of FKS can be reduced by strengthening the management of pregnant ewes during pregnancy ,scientifically preparing the feed for pregnant ewes , improving the management of ewes and lambs ,and by properly grazing ewes ,increasing exercise ,regular immunization ,and deworming ,strengthening environment and management before and after childbirth.
