The Practical Logic of Returning Rural Elites Assisting in Rural Industry Revitalization from the Perspective of Field Theory:A Case Study of Village K in Yanqing District,Beijing
Industry revitalization is of paramount importance for rural revitalization and is fundamental to addressing the issues relating to agriculture,rural areas,and farmers.Returning rural elites,capable of effectively connecting with external markets and utilizing government resources,occupy a special leading position in the practice of rural industry revitalization.This paper,based on Pierre Bourdieu's field theory,delves into the formation mechanism,practical logic,and influence patterns of rural elite assistance in the process of rural industry revitalization from the perspectives of field,capital,and habitus.Taking Village K in Yanqing District,Beijing, as the subject of field research,this study finds that returning rural elites utilize political momentum and capital support,activate internally generated habitus to improve the primary-level governance.They also enhance village cohesion,introduce external capital to rural areas,facilitate the implementation of national policies,and ultimately promote the rural industry revitalization.Therefore,it is important to value the positive impact of returning rural elites,actively guide them to transform resource advantages into governance efficiency,and establish an effective mechanism for returning rural elites to assist in rural industries.
