Research on the Approaches of Business Environment Promoting High-Quality Economic Development in the Yangtze River Delta:A fsQCA Analysis Based on the Data of 41 Cities
In the current context of economic development,optimizing urban business environment has become a key strategy to promote high-quality urban economic growth.Although existing studies have explored the direct impact of various elements of the business environment on economic development,the complex mechanisms by which these elements synergistically affect the high-quality development of urban economies require further in-depth analysis.This paper adopts a configurational perspective,integrating the conditions of the business environment necessary for high-quality urban economic development.Utilizing the fsQCA method and based on data from 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region,it investigates how the configurational arrangements of elements in the business environment collectively promote high-quality urban economic development.The study finds that,firstly,multiple elements of the business environment,through coordinated synergy,form diverse configurational modes,all of which can achieve high-quality urban economic development.Secondly,despite significant differences in the approaches to enhancing economic development among different types of cities in the Yangtze River Delta region,these differentiated approaches all effectively promote the high-quality development of urban economies. This research not only provides theoretical guidance for optimizing urban business environment and thus promoting high-quality urban economic development,but also offers practical insights for different types of cities to formulate development strategies according to their unique characteristics.
