To bring ecological civilization to new heights is an inherent requirement for promoting the creative adaptation of Marxism to China's conditions,and it is also a practical necessity for improving the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.As manifested in practice,the"four treasuries"of forests, with the concepts of eco-development,ecosystems,ecological livelihoods and ecological civilization as their core, contain rich connotations,and represent the intrinsic correspondence between Marxist ecological concept and the traditional Chinese conception of nature.Based on the practical exploration of forestry ecological construction in the past century,the"four treasuries"of forests reveal the inherent connection between forests and water resources,material wealth,food,and carbon sinks in multiple dimensions.In this new era,in order to realize the value of the"four treasuries"optimally,we should learn from history,think about worst-case scenarios, and think strategically,systematically,and dialectically under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Eco-Civilization,so as to work together to draw a modern ecological picture for the"governance of China".
