Taking urban integration of the old and new generations of migrant workers as the research object,this paper constructs the index of urban integration level of migrant workers from four dimensions:economy,system, society and psychology.Through empirical analysis,the influencing factors of the differences in the urban integration are explored.The results indicate that there are inter-generational differences in the migrant workers'urban integration.Among the influencing factors,economic capital is the most important one.Human capital has a greater impact on the new generation of migrant workers than the old generation,while social capital and psychological capital have a greater impact on the old generation of migrant workers.In view of the research finding,we should help migrant workers to accelerate their urban integration by increasing their income,enhancing their work skills,cultivating their social capital and enhancing their sense of belonging to the city,so as to promote the development of urbanization.
