Integration of New Urbanization and Comprehensive Rural Revitalization
The new urbanization and comprehensive rural revitalization are both major strategies that must be high on the agenda in promoting Chinese modernization,and they are major practical issues affecting the construction of a new development pattern,the promotion of high-quality development and the enhancement of people's well-being.Moreover,since the integration of new urbanization and comprehensive rural revitalization cannot be achieved automatically,its importance and urgency should be given high priority.However,at the present time,there are still a series of difficulties and major problems in the integration.Attention should be paid to clarifying the main tasks,which include promoting the quality and expanding the scope of the citizenship of the agricultural transferred population;promoting the gradient,differentiated and coordinated development of urban and rural industries;constructing livable,workable and beautiful villages;creating strategic pivots for the integrated development of urban and rural areas in counties with county towns as the hubs;promoting the connectivity of urban and rural infrastructures and the equalization of basic public services in urban and rural areas;and improving the regular assistance mechanism for low-income populations in urban and rural areas,underdeveloped areas and problem areas.
