Domestic Academic Research on Integrated Urban-Rural Development:Review,Reflection and Prospect
The integrated development of urban and rural areas is an inevitable requirement of Chinese modernization.The level of integrated urban-rural development is affected by a variety of factors,and it leaves something to be desired in narrowing income gap,improving living standards and promoting social development.The practical exploration in recent years has provided useful reference for improving the institutional mechanism and policy system of integrated urban-rural development.Current research on integrated urban-rural development mainly focuses on five aspects:the development laws in the temporal and spatial evolution,the goal orientation of common prosperity,the context of factor flow,the county as the basic unit carrier and the mechanism of development enabled by digitalization.The existing research shows the trends towards depth,multidimensionality,quantitation,and application,but there is still room for further exploration.In the future,in the face of the governance challenges in the process of integrated urban-rural development,it is essential to adopt comparative analysis methods and propose systematic solutions in terms of resources,reforms,governance,with global,dynamic and sustainable perspective,actively promoting the theoretical construction,and providing more intellectual support for integrated urban-rural development and Chinese modernization.
