Attribution and Solutions of the Development Dilemma of Rural Cultural Self-Organization:An Exploratory Study Based on Grounded Theory
Rural cultural self-organization can efficiently and accurately respond to the cultural needs of rural residents, but it also suffers from problems such as poor stability and difficulty in sustainable development.Factors affecting the development of rural cultural self-organization can be classified into three dimensions, the individual dimension including willingness to participate, perception of income and perceived costs, the organizational dimension including management level, leadership style and degree of openness, and the environmental dimension including cultural supply, supportive policies of primary-level governments, and evaluation of the community. The interplay of weakened individual willingness, low level of organizational operation, and insufficient environmental support will affect the participation of rural residents in self-organization,leading the organization into a dilemma of unsustainability. To achieve sustainable development, rural cultural self-organization should attach great importance to internal system construction, and improve its management level, while a positive and favorable external environment should be created simultaneously.
