The Current State and Prospect of Research on New Rural Collective Economy in China:A Visual Analysis Based on CiteSpace and NVivo
Based on a bibliometric study of 6 401 key documents from the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index(CSSCI)in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database from 1998 to 2024,this paper utilizes CiteSpace software to visualize and analyze the development, hot topics, and frontiers in rural collective economy research.Unlike general bibliometric analyses, this study selects the top-cited 27 documents annually for a qualitative analysis of the policy support for rural collective economy through manual coding with NVivo software. The research indicates that the study of China's rural collective economy exhibits distinct characteristics specific to periods of time, and the collaboration network of authors and research institutions shows a pattern of"wide distribution and weak aggregation".In terms of hot topics, the study of China's rural collective economy has multidimensional features, with the focus shifting from collective land, land rights separation(ownership rights, contractual rights and management rights),and homestead issues to the shareholding cooperative system and village self-governance in the new type of collective economy. In terms of research frontiers, the study of the new rural collective economy is more focused on topics of agricultural modernization such as environmental ecology and social capital.Regarding policy support, the focus is still mainly on policies on homesteads and land, while research on basic public service policies warrants further attention.
