Growth of characteristics Fatshedera lizei seedling under different canopy coverage of Cinnamomum camphora stands
Based on agroforestry systems under camphor trees, we compared the growth dynamics of bush ivy under different light environment, to explore the possibility of breeding bush ivy under trees and provide a scientific basis for increasing the rate of land use. The results shows that: the low canopy density environment can promote the height, leaf area, and other indicators of bush ivy in short-term; but the direct radiation of 13.16 mol·m-2 and the scattered radiation of 1.62 mol·m-2 are needed for the foster of stable and tolerant Fatshedera plants. In practice, the condition of 0.4 forest canopy density and 60% transmission rate can be suitable for the plant foster.
