Effects of stress under different NaCI concentrations on the germination of tomato seeds
The effects of stress under different NaCI concentrations on seed germination in 12 tomato eultivats were studied. The results showed that the stress under low NaCi concentrations on seed germination had certain promotion;, inversely, with the increasing of NaCI concentration, the germination percentage, gemination energy, germination index, and vigor index decreased, and germination time and seed germinating performance would be delayed and reduced accordingly. Under the same stress conditions, the seed germination among different tomato varieties were significantly different.
