Characteristics of photosynthetic physiology and ecology of Dendrobenthamia angustata var.wuyishanensis
In this paper, the photosynthetic physiological characteristics of Dendrobenthamia angustata var.wuyishanensis was studied. The results indicated that the diurnal variation of photosynthetic rate presented a typical double-peak curve type in spring, summer and autumn. The species had the low light compensation point of 46.10 μmol·m-2·s-1,and its light saturation point was 500 μmol·m-2·s-1.Based on the analysis, the species could be identified as a darksome cover with shade tolerance and intolerant to direct sunlight. The path coefficient analysis was used to describe the importance of the different factors on the net photosynthetic rate in growing seasons. The results showed that the stomatal conductance affected the net photosynthetic rates of Dendrobenthamia angustata var.wuyishanensis in spring, summer, autumn obviously, followed by relative humidity and transpiration rate.Blades of light energy utilization rate and stomatal conductance and relative humidity were positively correlated based on both correlation analysis and path coefficient analysis. In order to improve the light energy utilization, the air relative humidity should be increased.
