Hardwood cutting propagation of Corylus heterophylla Fisch.×C.avellana L.
In this paper,an orthogonal experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of the hormone type,hormone concentration,and cutting type on the rooting characteristics and rooting rate of one-year-old cuttings of C.heterophylla × C.avellana in the garden soil.The result showed that the maximal rooting rate was 79.33％ and the optimal treatment was that using the low portion of the suckers as cuttings treated with 200× 10-6 IBA for 6 h or using up-middle current year branches as cuttings treated with 200× 10-6 ABT3 for 6 h.Roots were mainly induced from the bark and some roots also developed from the callus tissues in hardwood cuttings of C.heterophylla × C.avellana.
