Effects of different cultivation methods on endogenous hormones, yield and quality of buckwheat
In order to find out the difference of endogenous hormone contents in different tartary buckwheat cultivars and their relationship with the yield and quality of buckwheat, four tartary buckwheat varieties,Xiqiao 1,Miqiao 1,Chuanqiao 1 and Sichuan buckwheat No.2 were studied. The contents of endogenous hormones, yield and nutritional quality of four tartary buckwheats under the two cultivation methods were compared. The grain weight,1000-grain weight, yield, dietary fiber, protein, flavonoid and starch contents of the buckwheat plant under the conventional cultivation method and the new cultivation technique (invention patent application No.201610057193.3,publication number 105660133A) were measured.ABA in the root, stem and leaf at mature period, zeatin + zeatin riboside,IAA,1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC),polyamines (putrescine, spermidine, spermine) and other endogenous hormones, and their correlations were analyzed. The results showed that the contents of dietary fiber, protein, flavone and starch in the four tartary buckwheats were negatively correlated with ABA content in the leaf. The content of protein was positively correlated with the contents of zeatin, zeatin and IAA in the leaf and root. The content of flavonoids was positively correlated with the contents of IAA,ACC and polyamines in the leaf.It was found that the yield and quality of the tartary buckwheats were closely related to the contents of endogenous hormones in different plant parts. The endogenous hormones could be regulated by new cultivation techniques to improve the quality and yield of the tartary buckwheats.
