Study on the relationship between plankton community structure change and environmental factors in Dafangying Reservoir
In order to better understand the ecological environment of drinking water sources in Hefei City, the water quality, phytoplankton and zooplankton of Dafangying Reservoir were monitored in the summer, autumn, winter of 2020, and spring of 2021. The existing and historical changes of plankton communities were compared, and the impact of environmental factors on plankton communities was explored using redundancy analysis (RDA) and Monte Carlo displacement test. The results showed that the dominant species of phytoplankton in the study area were cyanobacteria, with a density and biomass increase of 37.7% and 7.0%, respectively as compared to 2005. The dominant species of zooplankton were copepods, with a density decrease of 77.5% and a biomass diversity increase of 47.8%. The main environmental factors affecting the structure of phytoplankton communities were NH3-N, T (temperature), pH, and TN. In addition, the study also revealed that seasonal changes had a small impact on the spe-cies composition of plankton in reservoirs, but had a significant impact on the abundance and diversity of plankton.
