Investigation of the Species,Occurrence Character and Control Measures of Poplar Diseases in Anhui Province
The species and occurrence character of poplar diseases were investigated and their causes were determined in all poplar plantations in Anhui. The results showed that there were 23 diseases in Anhui poplar plantation, among which, 11 diseases were newly recorded in Anhui.These diseases were caused by fungi, bacteria, chinese dodder, and physiological factors, and resulted in the death of younger seeding in Spring, yellow and fall off of leaf in Summer, and leaf necrosis and fall off in Summer and early Autumn( earlier than usual season). The control treatments of diseases were also suggested to poplar producers in this paper
