Effects of Nitrogen Fertilizer Application on the Development Characteristics and Yield of Hybrid Soybean
[Objective] The study aimed to explore the development characteristics of hybrid soybean under different nitrogen (N) fertilizer levels and its high-yield cultivation techniques. [Method] With hybrid soybean Youza 1 as test material, conventional high-yield soybean Meng 91-413 as CK, N-fertil-izer treatment with 5-level and 3-repeation were set up to study the development characteristics and high-yield cultivation techniques of hybrid soybean. [Result] The branch number in final flowering of Youza 1 were 7.0 and 7.4 reap, in C and E treatments with N fertilizer level at 90 kg/hm2, that were 6.4 and 6.8 resp. in B and D treatments with N fertilizer level at 45 kg/hm2 and that was only 6.2 in A treatment with no N fertilizer. The pods number per plant, grains number per plant and grains weight per plant were 104.0 and 105.4, 188.0 and 201.0, 29.8 g and 31.3 g resp. in C and E treatments with N fertilizer level at 90kg/hm2, that were 95.8 and 98.8, 165.7 and 166.6, 26.6 and 27.0 g reap, in B and D treatments with N fertilizer level at 45 kg/hm2 and that were 83.9, 141.3 and 24.8 g resp. in A treatment with no N fertilizer. The plot yields of Youza 1 were 4.28, 4.38, 3.81 and 3.82 kg resp. in C, E, B and D treatment, increasing resp. by 21.2%, 24.1%, 7.9% and 8.2% comparing with A treatment. [Conclusion] N fertilizer increment could increase yield per unit area of hybrid soybean and exert its yield increasing potential fully.
