Summary of Research on the Influences of Organic Pollutants in Sludge on Farmland Plants
From aspects such as concept, classification and characters of sludge, and its organic pollutant components including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), phthalate esters (PEs), polychlorinated dibenzopdioxins furans (PCDD/Fs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), chlorobenzenes (CBs), chlorophenols (CPs), the influences of organic pollutants on farmland plants when it was used in agriculture was summarized. The properties and contents of PAHs and CBs and their influences on the seed, seedling, root length, quality and growing condition of crops when using sludge in agriculture were introduced emphatically.
