Analysis of the Effect of Returning Farmland into Forest and Grassland in Minhe County and Its Continuance Development
Taking Minhe County as an example, data were used to analyze the ecological and social impact on the returning farmland into forest and grassland. Result showed that after implementing the project, it improved the status of water and soil erosion and the microclimate environment, optimized agricultural configuration, increased the peasantry income. But many problems still existed, such as the transfer of the surplus labor. In order to solve these issues, continuance development advice, including developing characteristic agriculture and forming the industry chain, were proposed. Sustainable development countermeasures for the returning farmland into forest and grassland of Minhe County, were put forward.
