Floristic Analysis of Vascular Plants in Dalai Lake National Nature Reserve of Inner Mongolia
The floristic composition of vascular plants in Dalai Lake National Nature Reserve wetlands were studied. The results showed that there were 653 species of vascular plants in nature reserve, belonging to 286 genera and 78 families. Among them, there were 2 species of fern ( belonging to 2 genera and 1 family), 2 species of gymnosperm (belonging to 2 genera and 2 families) and 649 species of the angiosperm (belonging to 282 genera and 75 families). The plants of larger families such as Compositae, Gramineae, Papilionaceae and Rosaceae were dominant in species composition in the nature reserve . The widespread type was the most and the temperate type was in the next place in the areal types of families. The genera mainly contained regional one-seeded genus and depauperate genus which covered 93.71% of total genera. The areal types of genera belonged to 13 different distribution areas and floristic elements were complex. The distribution and variations of north temperate type played a dominant role, and those of the old world temperate type and Asian temperate type were also in the majority, which reflected the flora in this nature reserve had typical floristic characteristics of temperate type with abroad geographic relation and low typical flora.
