Effect of Land Use in Farming-pastoral Zone on Land Nutrition in Northern Hebei Plateau
The study researches the correlations between different land use types and soil nutrition in farming-pastoral zone, it provides scientific basis for grain for green land, returning grazing land to grassland and rationally using land. Taking Kangbao County which lies in northern Hebei Plateau as an example, 5 different land use areas in 3 comprehensive agricultural areas were chosen and sampled, through lest analysis of soil samples, the result shows that soil organic matter content is as follows: the new afforestation land < the abandoned land < farmland < grain for green land < natural grassland . Soil total nitrogen content is as follows: the new afforestation land < land as returning farmland to grassland grain for green land < the abandoned land < natural grassland < farmland. Soil available N content is as follows: the new afforestation land < farmland < grain for green land < natural grassland < abandoned land. While soil available P is as follows; natural grassland < the new afforestation land < grain for green land < farmland < abandoned land, soil available potassium as the new afforestation land < farmland < grain for green project < natural grassland < abandoned land. Soil organic matter content increases as follows; northern hilly region < central-south zone < east hilly region. And the same trend as soil total P and available N content. Soil available P content increase as follows: northern hilly region < east hilly region < central-south zone. But soil available K content seems more or less the same among these 3 areas. Through comparison analysis on soil nutrition situation in different agricultural areas, the study puts forward some suggestions on improving ecological environment and enhancing local economic benefits.
