Inhibitory Effects of Gomphidius viscidus Polysaccharide on the Sarcoma S_(180) of Mice
[Objective] The research aimed to study the inhibitory effects of Gomphidius viscidus polysaccharide on the sarcoma S_(180) of mice, so as to find a new method of inhibiting tumour with less side effects. [Method] The mice were fed separately with the low, middle, high dosage of Gomphidius viscidus polysaccharide and 20 mg/(kg·d)cylophosphamide. And the inhibitory effects were observed. [Result] Compared with control group, the inhibitory rate of the low, middle, high dosage of Gomphidius viscidus polysaccharide on sarcoma S_(180) was 76.018%, 24.22%, 54.763%, respectively. The inhibitory rate of the low dosage group was higher than that of cylophosphamide control group (53.839%). There was significant difference on the index of spleen between the low dosage group and the cylophosphamide group(P<0.05). There was extremely significant difference on the index of thymus between the low, middle dosage group and cylophosphamide group(P<0.01). Gomphidius viscidus polysaccharide had more obvious protection on the immune organs. [Conclusion] The low dosage of Gomphidius viscidus polysaccharide can inhibit the sarcoma S_(180) of mice effectively, with stronger antitumor activity. At the same time, it can protect the immunity organs .
