Research on the Propagation Technique of Tilia miqueliana Maxim.
[ Objective ] The basis of the rapid propagation of T. miqueliana was provided through the experiment in the cutting technique of T. miqueliane shoot and hardwood. [ Method] The semi-lignified shoot and hardwood of T. miqueliana being taken as cutting material, the effect of the different hormones( IBA, NAA and ABT) and the different concentrations of IBA(500, 1 000, 2 000 and 5 000 mg/kg) on their rooting was researched. [ Results] The young cluster root in the cutting could be growing in the 30-40 days after hormone treatment, of which, the rooting rate of shoot was better than that of hardwood. The average rooting number of the shoot was 2.6 with the average length of 3.1 cm/root and the hardwood, 1.9 with the average length of 3.0 cm/root. The rooting number of T. miqueliana cutting treated with hormone was higher than that of non-hormone treatment, and among treatments, the highest rooting rate was in the shoot cutting, treated with the IBA of 5 000 mg/kg, which was as high as 43.0% . [ Conclusion ] The semi-lignified shoot of T. miqueliana was easy being taken as cutting with low cost and high survival rate, so the method was valuable for a wide range of application.
