Study on the Phenology Characteristics of Juglans regia L. in Linzhi Area of Tibet
[ Objective ] The research aimed to study the phenology and growth rhythm of walnut in Linzhi of Tibet and provide reference for the breeding, development and utilization of Juglans regia L. in Tibet. [ Method ] The vegetative phenology, reproductive phenology and root growth phenology of typical Juglans regia L. in Linzhi of Tibet were observed. [ Result] During the vegetative growth, the swelling period and germination period of Juglans regia L. in experimental sites had little difference. In reproductive growth phenology, Dongga Town was the first, the next was Dongru and Gongzhong, followed by Lilong, Tongmai was the latest. From the aspect of the fruit growth dynamics, as for the horizontal diameter and longitudinal diameter, the amplitude size of fruit diameter was Tongmai > Dongga > Lilong > Gongzhong > Dongru; The longitudinal diameter amplitude size was Tongmai > Gongzhong > Dongga > Lilong > Dongru. In the root growth phenology, the beginning activity stage of walnut root was the same as the bud germination stage. New roots occurred in late March. There were two growth peaks from mid-June to early July and form mid-September to mid-October. It stopped the growth in late November. [ Conclusion] The results revealed the primary laws of phenological characteristics of walnut and filled the blank field of walnut in Tibet.
