Soil aggregates, as an important component of soil, have an effect on the content of the nutrient, moisture, and the condition of crop growth. Soil aggregate is also an important index of soil fertility and soil structure. This paper comprehensively reviewed the research about the formation mechanism of soil aggregation, the effect on the soil aggregate of the management and aggregates cementing agent. Then the exiseing problems in the study on field soil aggregate and the directions of further research were pointed .out.
