Spatial Variability of Soil Nutrients in Typical Red Soil Erosion Region
The diversification of natural environment and human interference both affected the spatial variability of soil nutrients in varying degrees. The tools of ArcGIS and goo-statistics methods were used to study the spatial variability of soil nutrients of watershed of Zhuxi River in typical red soil erosion region, ion in south China. The results indicated that:those soil properties had different spatial correlations respectively; the range of spatial correlations of available P was the highest and that of total K, available K and organic matter were the lowest, and the spatial correlation of total N and available N belonged to moderate class. According to the analytical results, supportod by GIS,Kriging was applied to describe and analyze the spatial distribution of soil nutrients. The levels of seven soil nutrients showed different spatial patterns in space.
