Application Effect of Seedling-Reserve Reagent in Salt-Alkaline Soil and Its Effect on Ammonia Volatilization
[Objective]The research aimed to develop the seedling-reserve reagent and study its field application in salt-alkaline soil. [Method] Nitrogen slow-release reagent added to the seedling-reserve reagent could significantly reduce ammonia volatilization from urea-N in salt-alkaline soil and promote seed germination and emergence. [Result]The field experimental results showed that after applying the special seedling-reserve reagent, the soybean and proso millet seedling-reserve ratio, grain yields and net income were increased by 43. 4% and 51. 0% , 290. 5 and 991.5 kg per hectare, 580.5 and 1189.8 yuan per hectare, respectively. Moreover, it could reduce soil pH, increase porosity, and improve the physical and chemical characteristics of cultivated horizon soil during the growth and development of soybean and proso millet plants. [ Conclusion ] The application of the seedling-reserve reagent containing nitrogen slow-release reagent in middle to heavy level salt-alkaline soil could increase the seedling-reserve ratio, grain yield and economic benefit of soybean and proso millet.
